Clinical Experience
Dr. Sun completed his fourth year clinical rotations in Illinois and Minnesota, where he developed skills in comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease, vision therapy, and specialty contacts. Following graduation, Dr. Sun moved back to California for two years and worked for a private practice in a large geriatric community where he further developed his ability in glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye management. Dr. Sun is excited to be back in the Chicagoland area to accompany his partner, who is also studying in optometry school.Outside the Office
In his free time, Dr. Sun enjoys watching sports, exercising, exploring the city, and cafe hopping with his girlfriend. He has also been a professional Go (board game) player since 2013 and applies the same discipline and conscientiousness towards his patients.Education and Training
