The Addison location was founded in 1955 by Dr. Saul Schwartz, who set out to provide quality eye care to his community. His son, Dr. Lenny Schwartz, continued that mission and relocated the practice to Lake Street in 1985. In his final years, Dr. Lenny entrusted Dr. Albina to carry on the family legacy—one rooted in dedication, compassion, and deep community ties.
It was great. Very helpful and informative. Dr was great. Rob my intake coordinator was amazing, and went above and beyond. Overall great experience!

Excellent service. Monica was very helpful with explaining insurance costs, & helping me with trying out contact lenses. Dr Saleh took the time to ensure all my questions were answered during the exam & was very thorough in ensuring my contact lenses were the best fit. Highly recommend this place.

After visiting three different eye doctors for my 7-year-old daughter’s myopia management, Dr. Park was the only one who truly took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He’s incredibly attentive, easy to talk to, and very transparent about every step of the process.
My daughter actually looks forward to her visits—which says a lot! Dr. Park not only showed us how myopia management works, but after just one week of treatment, her vision improved dramatically—from 100/400 to not needing glasses at all.

I had been experiencing eye discomfort for a few weeks and came in to see Dr. Park at Eye Care Center in Addison. After a few tests, Dr. Park determined the underlying problem and provided me a treatment plan. My eyes are feeling great now! Great office and staff!
Great eye center helped my dry eyes using radio frequency treatment therapy and no more dry eyes or have to use eye drops.

My son is 8 years old and has autism. I truly appreciate how well the entire staff was able to handle my baby. They made us comfortable, worked with any difficulties there were during his eye exam, to which there was only 1 occurrence with putting eye drops in his eyes, to which they managed to do, and just was overall pleasant. Thank you all there at Eye Care Center for giving us a really nice first visit
I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but I had such a great experience I wanted to share mine. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the “Eye Care Center” because it looks fairly small from the outside but I was wondering pleasantly surprised to find an office that had top notch technology and a wonderful staff. I felt very well taken care of as a first time client and the doctor took the time to thoroughly explain some things about my eyes and his recommendations. BONUS- staff is bilingual and super friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place enough !

Their legacy of compassionate, family-centered care was passed to Dr. Glenn Kueltzo in 1994, and then to Dr. Albina in 2012, who continues their longstanding tradition of trust and community service.

Albina, Dr. Najib OD and his team was amazing. Very patient and professional. Took the time to explain everything to me and my 5 year old. Which helped my 5 year old feel comfortable during the process.

Mohammed here was great to work with. I came here for the first time to get glasses prescribed & he was super informative and helpful throughout the whole process
The doctor was amazing and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and explaining everything that was going on with my eye.
Muhammad helped my mom find the best glasses and he was very attentive to her needs. My mom requires a lot of specificity for her glasses and he was very patient with us during the entire process. My husband has seen Dr.Qureshi before and we were able to book a quick appointment with her as it was a sudden accident that occurred requiring a swift intervention. During that whole experience the team was very kind, understanding, and helpful. I enjoyed that they have answers to all of our questions.
I was there for my yearly exam. The staff was very friendly. Also, I am very happy with the doctor. She took time and explained all the details and options for my contacts.

The Willowbrook location has a rich history dating back to 1955, when it was founded by Dr. Henry Luckhardt and later became Drs. Maze and Luckhardt. In 2023, Dr. David Maze passed the torch to his longtime friend Dr. Albina, who relocated the practice to the former office of retiring optometrist Dr. Les Paczkowski — creating a full-circle moment both professionally and personally. Now operating from this new location, The Eye Care Center LTD proudly serves both the Westmont and Willowbrook communities.
